Developing The Plan

As plans develop and evolve to help, assisting people in need of shelter in this community, we will use this page to communicate how we move forward in addressing homelessness in the Pottstown area.

"The short term solution to this struggle, was to establish our own cooperative mobile shelter within the Pottstown area, to shelter people through the winter months.

We are now in phase two focusing on our ultimate goal of organizing a cooperative long-term solution."

The summer of 2007 is proving to be very energetic looking into Code enforcement needs, construction needs, and generally preparing to reopen in fall 2007.

Our generous friends at HOME DEPOT are graciously planning to help us with converting our home base of homeless ministries operation to a suitable atmospher for helping our most vulnerable citizens.

Please feel free to come and lend a hand on this great day of compassion.

We will be painting, and working together all day. We will also be enjoying food together. Hope to see you there...
